Ellie, “the eyes say it all”, is a wonderful family dog. She is a sensitive and super intelligent dog, always very anxious to please, if a little over-exuberant at times.

Ellie has only been lightly shown, and, although she has won well and been placed at Open and Championship Shows, showing is not really Ellie’s cup of tea. Her favourite pastime is flushing pheasants and chasing grey squirrels in the local country park.

She has had two litters and produced some excellent youngsters. From her first litter, the Res. C.C. winning Lakemeadow Cynan at Nigabee, and from her second litter three pups who have qualified for Crufts in their first few appearances in the show ring, L. Let It Be Me at Sharouns, L. Let’s Dance with Sharouns (B.P. in Breed S.K.C. Ch. Show, B.B.P. Bath and Blackpool Ch.Shows and B.P.I.S. Cheshire County Show) and L. Lady Jane Whistletyne.
